Shepherd's Fritillary (''Boloria pales'') is a butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It is found from the Cantabrian Mountains and the Pyrenees through the Alps and Apennine Mountains east to the Balkan, Carpathian Mountains, the Caucasus and central Asia up to western China.
